Dr. Smidt's practice encompasses all areas of orthopaedics. He has special interests in joint replacements, arthroscopy, sports medicine and trauma surgery. Dr. Smidt hs practiced medicine for the United States Air Force and California Orthopaedic Institute before returning to iowa in 2010.
