Hand Surgery

Since completing a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery in 2000, Dr. Young's orthopaedic practice has focused exclusively on the surgical care of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. She specializes in post-traumatic reconstruction of the upper extremity, athletic injuries, wrist arthroscopy, surgery for arthritic conditions, microvascular surgery, treatment of compression neuropathies (such as carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome), and congenital differences of the hand. She has written scientific papers and given numerous lectures on various topics in the field of hand surgery.
