Biography
Grace Adsem earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Physiology with a focus in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she gained valuable hands-on patient care experience as a nursing assistant on the orthopedics unit at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Grace went on to earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University in 2025.
Grace is passionate about providing orthopedic care to restore mobility, relieve pain and improve quality of life, and finds it especially rewarding to help patients return to the activities they love. Originally from Minnetrista, Minnesota, she has enjoyed becoming an Iowan. Outside of work, she stays busy exercising, reading, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends, along with her cat, Bilirubin, and dog, Bogey.
