Biography

Jack Johnson, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at our West Des Moines office. Originally from Northwood, Iowa, Jack now resides in West Des Moines. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from Waldorf College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Wartburg College. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Iowa State University and later earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Iowa. He also holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Jack has a strong background in musculoskeletal care and brings years of experience in emergency medicine as well as over 15 years as an Athletic Club Manager and Personal Trainer. He is passionate about helping patients recover efficiently, reduce pain, and return to their highest level of function. With a deep understanding of performance and rehabilitation, Jack is committed to supporting individuals as they overcome orthopedic challenges and regain active, healthy lifestyles.

Outside of his profession, Jack is an avid runner and has completed more than 20 marathons, including six Boston Marathon finishes. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Jamie, and their two sons, Bremen and Macsden. He is also a dedicated fan of the Iowa State Cyclones and the Minnesota Vikings.
