Biography
Dr. Jeffrey Bannister joined DMOS Orthopaedic Centers in 2022. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Michigan State University in metro Detroit. Following that, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky, where he served as an assistant team physician for the Wildcats.
Dr. Bannister was a physical therapist before becoming an orthopaedic surgeon. He developed an interest in orthopaedics while caring for injured patients. This experience ultimately led him to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Bannister specializes in shoulder and knee reconstruction - including total joint arthroplasty, sports medicine, and arthroscopy.
Outside of caring for his patients, Dr. Bannister enjoys golfing, watching college sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
